Competition ready 2015 WRX STI with 27,000 kilometres from new, 320 kilowatts at the wheels with current tune, and close to $40,000 worth of modifications to make it ready for the circuit, while keeping it road registered and legal.
History: The car was bought new by a motorsport enthusiast who intended to race it. He took out the stock motor and had a Deshele performance engine installed with closed decks and Cosworth forged internals, plus $23,000 worth of performance accessories, including Invidia stainless steel exhaust, Process West cold air intake with K&N filter, Extreme Turbo Systems front mount intercooler kit, AVO TGV deletes, Perrin top feed fuel rail kit. The suspension also got a tweak with Whiteline rear sway bar mount support, Perrin rear sway bar link, Perrin rear end links, and Hpyermax IV SP coilovers group N engine and transmission mounts, HKS SSQV4 blow off valve, 55 pound ball bearing turbo, and much, much more, to the tune of about $23,000, for which all receipts are available.
All Drive Subaroo (ADS) bought it, to be the ADS Company flag bearer, and the CEO’s personal ride, with the intention of putting it on the track in the near future, with an ADS/Cosworth built engine putting out even more power. ADS bought and installed a raft of other improvements to aerodynamics and performance for racing, including:

– APR carbon brake ducts
– APR carbon GT500 wing
– Advan rims with Nitto NT05 slicks
– Custom made water to air intercooler setup
– New FP Black journal bearing turbo with 3 1/4″ inlet duct

All these mods have less than a hundred kilometre on them. The engine has only 7000 kilometres . All are as new. The upgraded discs and brake pads are new. The twin plate organic clutch and billet flywheel are brand new. It has a brand new upgraded turbo just fitted. It’s fitted with near new Nitto slicks. The car is in overall excellent condition. The extremely low carbon fiber lip at the front has been scraped, (this thing is so low it practically scrapes on painted lines) and there are a few stone chips. But it’s a gorgeous thing to behold, and you have to get used to people turning their heads to look at it. It’s low and it’s mean and it’s beautiful. It’s just come back from the tuner with a conservative tune producing 320 kilowatts at half boost. Over 400 can be easily achieved with a little tweak. As it is this thing is a rocket, the big, big push back in the seat, the turbo whine, the explosive blow-off valve, it’s a symphony in motion and something you never get tired of.
Now we know that serious competitive drivers might have their own ideas about what they want in a motor, and they might want to build their own, or they might want the security of a new ADS/Cosworth engine that will come with a warranty, the precise amount of power you require, and the driving characteristics you prefer.
So here’s the deal:
1) Car with all body and suspension mods in place without an engine: $35K
2) As is with Deshele built engine, ready to race, freshly tuned, but no warranty: $45K
3) With new ADS/Cosworth engine, with closed decks and forged internals, tuned to your specifications for power and drivability $55K-$65K, depending on your needs. This engine would of course come with full warranty.
